ERP for businesses that build one piece at a time

From the quote through the production order to the invoice - in a system that knows every piece is made once.

Series or single piece - not a small difference

Most inventory systems assume goods sit on a shelf, get reserved and get shipped. A business that builds to order sells a promise instead: a production time. Every status and every delivery date depends on that.

The chain

  1. 1 An enquiry arrives.
  2. 2 A quote with items, quantities and estimated effort. Once issued it gets a number and no longer changes.
  3. 3 The customer’s order, carrying their order number.
  4. 4 The production order: target effort, bill of materials, stock.
  5. 5 Time booked as the work happens.
  6. 6 The invoice, created from the order - as an e-invoice where required.
  7. 7 Costing: estimated against booked. Only then do you know whether the price was right.

Questions

What about our existing data?
Customers, articles and open items are migrated. Anything that cannot be migrated cleanly is named before the quote, not after.
